Updated to Yosemite a few weeks back and just fired up JBid to run a snipe. AND I still get the old Java SE6 runtime error. First off the dialog's More Info option takes you to a blank WEB screen. But why on earth does the program still use such an OLD version of Java ?

Following Apples suggestion, I went to Oracle and downloaded the latest version of Java, but no luck, still gave the same startup dialog. This is a real pain. I will not install such an old, now unsupported version of Java.

Can we please update the app to run the latest Java, or even better make the app native so we can forgo this mess altogether.... this is the ONLY app that ever gives me problems when updating the OS.

If fixes are not in the works, can you recommend a good alternative sniper, as I may be done with this one after years of use and support.
