thoughts:

1) Has the problem started happening since you upgraded to Java
8?

2) Is the auction on a site other than your "home" site (e.g.,
my home site is ebay.co.uk, but I've had problems with auctions on
ebay.com)

Philiptag:help.jbidwatcher.com,2010-06-01:Comment/344393922014-10-06T00:57:53Z2014-10-06T00:58:06Zpasting ebay item nothing happens

Same thing here, becoming very common. Restart, sometimes it can
add them, sometimes it will show the ones you tried to add, I think
something is changing intermittently in the eBay URL that is
confusing the program. But it's become endemic. Will try using just
item number as a test on adding, but drag and drop is definitely
not working properly right now...

MEC2tag:help.jbidwatcher.com,2010-06-01:Comment/344393922015-05-26T17:31:46Z2015-05-26T17:31:47Zpasting ebay item nothing happens

I ran into the same problem.
