What happens when you try to launch it?

Hmm; if you know where the executable is, can you go to the
command
prompt and run:

java -jar JBidwatcher-2.1.6.exe

...and see what output it gives? (Replace

JBidwatcher-2.1.6.exe
with the full path to
JBidwatcher's executable, quoted if there are
any spaces...)

Any ideas on what's changed since you last successfully ran
JBidwatcher?

After executing java -jar JBidwatcher-2.1.6.exe the following error
occurred.

Error occurred during initialization of VM
java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: java/lang/Object

The only changes were update to the system and java that I can
remember.

All I can think is that there must be a problem with the Java
installation. Can I suggest re-installing Java via http://java.com/getjava ?

I removed update 29 (x64 & 32bit) and then installed update
30 (x64 &
32 bit). Jbidwatcher 2.1 now starts up and shows on the monitor.
I
assume all is well now.

Thanks,
