eBay rejects bids that are less than one minimum bid increment over
the<br>
current bid. The bid increments go on a sliding scale, from $0.05
for <$1<br>
to $100 for >$5000. Your bid of $132.25 is only $1.25 more than
the<br>
'current' (at the time of the snipe) bid of $131. The minimum bid
increment between $100 and $250 is $2.50, so eBay would have
rejected the<br>
bid attempt as too low.</p>
<p>You can find out more about minimum bid increments here:<br>

<p>I hope that helps, and I'm sorry you lost your auction...</p>
<p>Best of luck with your future auctions!</p>

Sorry, I missed your other question. If you have an arrow on your
'Bid'<br>
column header, it is purely to tell you the direction that the list
of<br>
auctions is sorted. Typically you would sort by time left, instead
of bid,<br>
and you do that by clicking the column header for Time left. You'll
see an<br>
arrow appear on it, showing the direction that it is sorted.</p>
<p>It does not have any affect on your bid, only on how the auction
list is<br>
presented.</p>
<p>Best of luck with your auctions!</p>
