login Failed invalid argument: connect

Hi Morgan, I was really hoping you may be able to help, I have recently upgraded my computer and and reinstalled indows 7 from fresh and installed jbidder and the latest jave, however whenever I go to test the login on jbidder i get the message

login Failed invalid argument: connect

I have disable the windows firewall and so far have not installed any anti virus on my computer, all that has changed from the last pc to this one is the network adaptor is a bigfoots network adaptor

I am not getting a captcha message and I am able to install jbidder on my laptop withoput any problems
