I haven't used JBW in awhile, but historically it's been very reliable. I need some product yesterday and found a great deal on Ebay. Launched JBW, added auction, added snipe information and then got an error messages stating

'snipe was not accepted by 'seller name'

I tried several different snipe amounts and snipe times, but nothing got past this error message.

JBW did not make the snipe and I lost the purchase.

Any ideas????

    Greetings,
You're going to have to give me the exact error message, if it's not one of
the ones below; the message you've quoted isn't one that JBidwatcher puts
out. It also doesn't put it out as soon as you put in your snipe
    information...

There is, 'Snipe was too low, and was not accepted.' which is pretty
self-explanatory. There's 'Snipe failed, as you are disallowed from
bidding on *seller name*'s items', and there's 'You don't meet some
requirement the seller has set for the item.', all of which mean different
    things.

If you're disallowed, which is the closest to what you've described, it
means that eBay responded to the bid with the exact text, "you are not
permitted to bid on their listings." This may be because you are in a
country they don't ship to, or because they require a PayPal account and
yours isn't linked (or became 'unlinked' as has happened to some users), or
you are explicitly blocked from bidding on their listings, or any other
requirements that the seller may have put in place that your eBay account
    doesn't meet for whatever reason.

In those cases, no, JBidwatcher cannot snipe, and there's really nothing it
can do about it. You have to figure out what the qualifications are that
you don't meet, and either set yourself up to meet them, or find a
    different seller.

Best of luck with your auctions!
