Program installed, disappeared

I downloaded JBidwatcher-2.99pre5-installer.exe, installed it & it seemed to be working. It was tracking my eBay, had a snipe in place & then the program disappeared. Tried to reopen it, it wouldn't, just didn't even appear to be there. Downloaded the program again, installed it & still can't get it to open. What's up?
