cannot past auction

I'm a long time casual user of Jbidwatcher. Today 6th July 2015 I cannot past an auction!

I'm running the Java binary version 2.5.5-0-g9fecd73 under Fedora Linux.

JBid starts, gets the sign in cookie and displays the time annd date.

Pasting into either Add or using Paste Auction appears to do nothing! The ID I'm pasting is 271921694101, if I search on ebay using the same the page appears OK.

I have tried a clean install of 2.5.6. with identical results.

I suspect ebay did something that breaks JBid!

Can I manually insert an auction somehow?

What can I do to find out what the problem is?

TIA

Sorry I should have browsed previous posts before posting mine. So this is a continuation of 'posting ebay item nothing happens'.

I'm definitely suddenly unable to paste. My platform is Fedora 17 Linux and nothing has been updated recently. Specifically Jave 1.7.0_25 has not been updated for a long time.

My policy on up-dates is only when necessary.
